Proceed as follows:
1. Update transaction SPAM/SAINT and kernel
a) Apply the latest SPAM update (700/35, 701/35, 710/35, 711/35).
b) Exchange tp and R3trans within the kernel directory with the latest versions from SAP Marketplace.
2. Modify SPAM/SAINT settings
a) Call transaction SPAM or SAINT.
b) Choose 'Extras'-->'Settings'.
c) Within section 'Parallel R3trans' specify the 'Number of parallel processes per R3trans'. As an initial value we recommend 4.
d) Choose 'continue'.
After these steps the parallel import processes are applied whenever a Support Package or an Add-on is applied to the system.

在网上看到如下方法可以下载SAP Menu下的tcode及描述，如果有很多folder需要被放入一个权限文件时，这种办法会方便一些。

新安装win2003和oracle10g 来覆盖 win2k+oracle 9 ， SAP版本是 R3E 4.7 200 SR1.

注意点：
1. 备份OS和数据
2. 备份 /usr 目录， 内有instance profile 和 transport profile 及历史的TR
3. 备份oracle目录，内有oracle profile
4. 备份sap license, 4.7的license key还只是一串数字。
5. 修改oracle listener服务为自动启动。
6. 不要使用以前的安装盘，使用最新的Installation Master / Kernel / Oracle 10g / IGS Kernel 要更新为 640 Unicode EX2
7. 安装后发现DB02/DB12会产生RAISE_EXCEPTION的ABAP DUMP, 源于判定数据库版本的ABAP程序还比较老。只能识别789.

You can delete a cluster node with following command:

cluster node 节点名称 /forcecleanup

To add an SAP instance to MMC, log on to the server using the <sid>adm user ID of the SAP instance having the problems. Open a DOS prompt and type in 'sapstartsrv' and press enter. After a second or two, a popup box will appear. If you get an error when starting this program, do a 'cd \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\run' and try again.

Fill in the popup box accordingly:

Operation: Install Service + Register COM Interface + Start Service
SID: The SID for your SAP instance in upper-case
NR: The system number for your SAP instance
Startprofile: The location and name of your SAP instance profile
User: Domain\SAPService<SID>
Password: Password for SAPService<SID>
Leave Use Envirnoment of User Blank/Unchecked

Click OK and a few seconds later you should see a confirmation message. Now you can open SAP MMC and your SAP instance should show!

Use CD : D51032258 to install the SAP NetWeaver 2004s SR2 Developer Workplace.

Developer Workplace includes 3 components:
 --Developer Studio
 --Java Enginee
 --Database(Maxdb or MSSQL)

If you don't have J2EE WAS installed so far, you can install Developer Workplace, otherwise Developer Stuido is enough.

While starting up the Developer Studio, the shortcut automatically point the javaw.exe to \bin\javaw.exe and that will propbrably cause the Developer studio failed to be started up. You need to modify the shortcut to point the right path of javaw.exe, for example "C:\Program Files\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\SapIde.exe" -vm "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_12\bin\javaw.exe"

change the value for -Xms512m, you have to change this for server and dispatcher node.

Adjust the JVM parameters of the node which is not starting manually using the configtool as follows:

1. Start the configtool from /usr/sap/<SID>/JC<instance-nr>/j2ee/ configtool directory
2. Browse the tree in the left pane cluster-data -> instance_ID<num> -> <node>_ID<num>
3. Select the Java parameters Text field in the right pane
4. Adjust the parameters of the node.
5. Make sure value of -Xms option is lower or equal than -Xmx
6. Press the apply changes button
7. Confirm all popups.
8. Close the configtool
9. Stop the J2EE instance
10. Start the J2EE instance
11. Continue with the installation process
